Sentry Mode. Doesn’t record much activity 2022.20.8

Since the recent and previous update, sentry mode barely records activity.

Normally if a car parks next to me I would receive an alert.

Recently someone dinged my car and left a note and sentry mode did not record any of it. Thank god the person left a note.

Anyone else notice similar experience?

It will have to respect handicapped parking spaces and for level 5 it will need to read and interpret street parking signs and signs reserving spaces for individuals or companies as well as knowing if the sign applies to its driver.

I find sentry mode to be intermittent at best, even in terms of triggering but yes sometimes even no recordings available (recently) despite claiming alerts.

I feel like the software has dulled the detection algorithm to save battery life. Sentry mode was very sensitive on my M3. However due to that activity I would loose about 1% an hour sometimes.

Being that the Y has worst range, I think Tesla is countering that in any way possible.
