Hello,
I’ve had a Model Y for a little bit now, but I’ve been experiencing issues with Sentry Mode. My car is set to charge every night to 80% max. Sentry mode is on during that time. I have the “exclude home” option turned on, and have confirmed that my location is accurate. However, since Sentry Mode uses 1% battery every hour, each hour the battery goes below 80%, so it charges back up to 80%. This would not be good for the car long-term because the battery constantly recharging 1% could degrade it (correct me if I’m wrong about that). Is there any way to stop this? I appreciate and tips anyone could give me!
Attached is a photo of my energy monitoring plug’s graph. You can see how every hour it jumps up to charge it but then plummets back down when supposedly at 80%.
