I wish there was an option using the mobile app to do a “live view” of the cameras on your car at any point.
I hope that they expose Sentry mode via the API so I can tell Siri to activate it like Iron Man does with Jarvis.

Been looking forward to this. I wish though that it was more passive and would automatically arm once the driver exited and auto lock activated. Also, would playing music at max volume have a chance of blowing out the speakers?
Now if burglars smash the rear window and realizes that the car has sentry mode, they'll also smash the front window to retrieve the video evidence on the USB drive.

I would assume so. My guess is that vampire drain is the reason you have to arm the system each time as opposed to having sentry mode be always on when locked. It probably prevents the car from sleeping and the AP computer probably needs to be running as well.
I hope they add an update to the mobile app to arm sentry mode remotely.

That’s more time wasted and increases odds I can physically confront you.

My personal thought. Nah the speakers are no where near it at max. Been thinking to put an amp in to get more volume, but the speakers seem to have no distortion at max volume. Either they would have to be incredibly high-end (they are not that caliber) or not pushing their limits.

Absolutely nothing. The video evidence isn't even what I'm interested in. The alarm and blasting music will be more of a deterrent as it'll attract attention.

Not really. Car alarms don't attract attention. If the USB port was in the glovebox it could work.

If they don't attract attention at least they will give some anxiety to the perpetrator. Even if I wasn't breaking a crime, listening to music playing at maximum volume would definitely give me a lot of anxiety.
I would rather discharge what’s left of my battery into the perp but will settle for maximum volume music.
