Sentry videos not displaying

I have never entered the car without it telling me that it has recorded at least five sentry events. Today, when I tried to see what's going on, the internal viewer wouldn't function. I took the USB to my Macbook and the most recent clips on the USB were several weeks old. Clicking on video files directly launched QuickTime but it couldn't open the files. Going from QuickTime to select the files from Finder allowed me to view them. They were very boring ;-)) All in all, doesn't seem ready for prime time.

Sentry inoperative, repeatedly tells me to reformat the USB - 32GB. Have taken it to my Mac to format as FAT32 as required over and over, but the formatting doesn't "stick"

Did you try formatting in the car? What software version are you on that FAT32 is "required?"

Reading through the various dash cam and sentry threads on TMC, I’m ordering a high endurance SD card and adapter and will format in car - this seems to be the consensus best option.

Probably need to do what is referenced in the post right before yours - it works - multiple writes (many) and minimum heat from the high endurance SD cards.
