I order 9/15 MYP original EDD was Dec. then changed to Sept 28th. I called Tesla and they said impossible I’ll get it. Date jumped to December 1-31, then Jan - February. Called Tesla cause spouse ordered the MYP black/white two weeks after me and his EDD stayed the same. SA said because I hadn’t completed my ordered as far as financing - stuck in received credit app pending decision for 3 weeks. I resubmitted the loan app. Approved and I accepted. Next day it goes dec 18-31. Two days later dec 5-31. On Friday Nov 12th received VIN with EDD 11-15-11/21. 1 hour later for an email to schedule delivery. Pick up 11/19 in NY. My spouse is still saying Dec 3-31.

I will be so upset if I get my car last week of Dec and EV credit starts Jan 1. I won't be rejecting delivery since who knows when will we get our chance again. Right now if we order a MYLR as base as it goes, the EDD is October. This is insane.
Supply and demand 101. I'd assume once TX starts rolling out production the initial EDD will be updated to the not so insane. Pure speculation though.
giga texas isn't even fully enclosed yet and most of the roads/lots are still dirt. Its going to be a few months minimum before they start producing cars even at low volumes.

Yes, until you complete your inspection and drive away with your car, there is much uncertainty. Imagine those booking now with dates in October 2022. I would not book something that took that long to arrive.

I don't believe that bill has our EV credits in it. We're still in wait-and-see for the wider social-spending bill to converge (or not).

That doesn't have any of the EV rebate stuff in it...unless you were referring to something else.

Lucky you. My EDD is last week of Dec and I am close to Fremont. Most probably will receive the car end of Dec and will loose my $$$$
Delivery next Tuesday is scheduled. We shall see if it holds true.

This gives me hope, I'm 9/21 and MYP white on white. I'd love to know whey the performance delivery times are all over the place, or really any of them for that matter lol.

Woke up to a new EDD It moved from Jan 9 - Feb6 to below!!!
Estimated Delivery: November 27 - December 07
Excited like a kid! Even though I know it will probably change.That’s awesome news! There is hope for the rest of us.
Sick man. I'm a week after your order and curious to see what happens with my next update. Haven't had an EED update in over two weeks.
