Nope. Spoke with a couple of SA yesterday and they both said they felt confident we should have the car by end of month. Another one of those- I’ll believe it when I see it- things. (4hrs from Fremont…not that it matters lol)

I got the March text last night with no reply from Tesla. I replied March. This morning my date changed to May 18- June 29.

You and I need to stay in contact lol. Our dates, model and location are damn near identical. We both got the text, so hopefully it sticks

Clearly they are just paring down the list of EOQ possible order completions and it looks like only for CA, probably due to delivery logistics. It doesn't guarantee you a car this month. They just don't want to deal with people who would decline a VIN or put on a hold this month.
Too bad they can't just say that.

Have been trying to text and talk to multiple ppl, they keep saying someone will reach out to you and the usual script they follow. My profile is complete every time they check it and they say “be ready over next 2-3 weeks” as VINs would get assigned.
Looks like Tesla has too many people in the EOQ pot ending on 3/31, so they are looking to verify that the customer will take the vehicle before scheduling the truck ride to delivery centers. A rejected car at, or on the way to, a delivery center is a missed delivery for Q1.
If you want the car in March you should reply as fast as you can or the decision may be made for you but more nimble people with similar EOQ delivery ranges.
