Good afternoon, everyone. I have another question because Tesla is my second car. How should I replace the insurance of my previous car when I trade in to Tesla? Do I need to buy it again or can I cancel it and change to Tesla? thank you

You may want to call your insurance to get a quote beforehand. Some companies charge a lot more than others to insure Tesla.

But assuming you are going with the same company you have for the existing car...

When you get a VIN number for the Tesla, call your insurance and they can set up the new policy for the Tesla. You can set the insurance on the old car to cancel on the day you trade it in. Likewise, the Tesla insurance will start that day. Tesla will want proof of insurance before you can take delivery.

You can likely do everything online through your provider, but definitely get quotes. I was using Geico and they were a FORTUNE when I got a rate for the MY. I went with Progressive. Far less expensive with the same coverages.

I picked up exact the same car yesterday with 19” wheel. I also ordered the same truck mat today from Amazon.

Have a similar OD/config. EDD changed this AM to 5/29-6/10.
