Service center appointment expectations

Hey there,

I recently discovered that my trunk seal wasn't secure apparently and was leaking water into my trunk during heavy rains, so I scheduled a service appointment. Tesla moved it to a service center appointment from a mobile service. This is all fine, except I need to have the car done same-day.

I keep hearing stories about loaners or keeping cars overnight, so I'm kind of wondering if there is an expectation of work being done immediately and how long this (or services in general) take? I have to travel the day after the appointment, so this is kind of a concern.

I don't really have a number to call to check up on things in advance, so just curious if anyone has actual firsthand knowledge of the repair process or what I can expect. Thanks everyone.
