Hello Cherry Hill folks! I need some local assistance.

Just arrived at my parent's place (Golden Triangle) with 8 miles left. Parked for 30 minutes -- and then got in to go to the Wawa to recharge but it now only shows 2 miles. Wawa is 1.8 miles away and I'm not sure I want to risk it since it's so warm out. Maybe as it cools this evening I'll gain a mile or two to make it over?

I went over to the Tesla SC and asked if they could loan me a mobile charger for a few hours but they said "no".

So if there's anyone in the local area (Wegmans, Ellisburg, CHHSW, CH Mall, etc) that can loan me a 120v charger for a few hours, please PM me! Otherwise I'll call AAA in an hour to have it towed over to Wawa. I have an ICE to use to come to you.

I just decided to risk it and shoot for the Wawa and made it with 0 miles left. Whew.

I took mostly back roads behind CH West in case it shut down. I've never run it down this low before, I was sure it was going to die one me with <300 feet to go.

That's good to hear. There is supposed to be a reserve battery capacity but it isn't much and depends on the model and battery pack. I've never gone below 2 miles left myself but others have done it to zero.

If you're going to have it towed anyway, why not go for it and then call the tow if it dies?
