proposed high power charging on the right of the driveway as you go in.
Might end-up being 72kW urban chargers.

I wish, unfortunately working late that night! Let us know how it goes, I'm very excited about this site and the potential of even urban superchagers, given lack of options in Philly!I have not personally gone to check it out recently, but someone posted in the SJ EV Club Facebook page that they saw evidence of superchargers to the right rear of the parking lot when you pull in. I have no other confirmation of this. I was there when it was a furniture store and that lot is very small and hard to maneuver in -- you can also see how small it is from Google Maps. I don't know how they will manage new cars, service cars, visitors, and superchargers unless they also have another remote lot. Even for the Grand Opening, where will everyone park? There is no street parking.
@jaguar36 and @skidme -- will you be going to the event? If yes, see you there.
Hrm, I assumed those were just HPWC not superchargers. I'll try and stop by on my way home today.@jaguar36 In this screen shot of a portion of the picture of the plans that was posted on Facebook it says proposed high power charging on the right of the driveway as you go in.
@jaguar36 -- nothing like a hard deadline to push someone to finish a task We'll see next week. I doubt they are taking appointments yet, but I bet you can be one of the first if you schedule it at the opening event. I wonder how they selected who to invite. I have checked with other owners in the area and none have been invited (yet). Length of ownership? Number or type of Tesla? Random? Some combination of the former plus distance from Cherry Hill?so maybe they'll get it done.
I'm guessing its either random or related to the number of service visits. We've got two Teslas and got the first in 2014 and didn't get an invite. Course with the size of the lot it could only be like 10 people who were invited.@jaguar36 -- nothing like a hard deadline to push someone to finish a task We'll see next week. If you look at the Google map link below, you'll see a lot filled with trees adjacent to the building. They are probably going to clear that lot for parking.
Hah, that's complete BS. I was there the day after the snowstorm and they had power and were packed with workers.Perhaps they were not ready, but reason given was "weather-related power outages across the state of New Jersey." No new date set.
A friend of mine who lives in Haddonfield said not only was the Tesla logo on the building, but also the sign (visible from the road) is now up with the Tesla name as well. I had planned on swinging by on Saturday to check out the progress...Any word on an opening date yet? I'm moving to Merchantville in four weeks, and my car is due for it's annual in April.
Interesting, there are what looks like 6 regular charger spots there but they're not where the plans listed. That leaves 8 spots where the plans only had 6 for "High Powered Charging".
Looks just about ready to open though!
