Service Center visit good, but what is this?!

Had my first service center visit, in San Rafael, and it went really well. They took care of the stuck sliding door on my center console, fixed a rattle I had, and did a recall service I was not aware of. Also took a bunch of walk-ins, gave them loaners, etc. Staff seemed pretty knowledgeable too. So, thumbs up for them!

However, after I got home, I washed my car (which apparently they no longer do to save the environment), and found some white fingerprint like things on the back of the driver seat. See the picture. I can't get this *sugar* off. Tried all kinds of cleaners and it's like paint or something. What the heck could this be and what could possibly take it off?
