    Hi so im confirmed for pickup Thursday at 11am. My question is about service contracts, what's the census ? are people purchasing them ?

    From what I can tell, if money is a concern, it's not needed. If mo ey isn't an issue, peace of mind is worth it.

    That said, I plan to go without.

    I am trying to decide whether or not the pre-paid plans are worth it. There's not a huge price break for paying ahead of time especially when you could invest that money. Why not just pay as you go?

    Because prices can change and generally they go up so the pre-pay could look even better in the future.

    When they offered prepaid Ranger service, the service plan was an exceptionally good deal. They don't any more.
