Service Mode Needed to Install Winter Tires?

You do not need a code to change tires / wheels. If you use a new tire/wheel combination, the car will detect the new TPMS sensors after driving for a while and once you get in Park mode will prompt you to register the new wheels (whether they are 19, 20 or 21" wheels). That's all there is to it.

Does anyone know if you need to be in service mode to install new tires on a hoist? The lady at the CT store said some newer Tesla’s may require a code for service mode? If so, where can I get this magical code?

Does CT mean Canadian Tire? Trust me, DO NOT go there with your Tesla, unless you don't care about it. Never again for me. Costco is a better bet in my experience.
