Service Plan Unavailable in your area

What does this mean? I was on MyTesla this morning to see if anything had changed and I saw the link to "Services Sign Up". I clicked it and it says "Service Plan Unavailable in your area."

It was explained to me that the State of Florida views service plans (and extended warranties) the same as selling you insurance. The Tesla galleries are not licensed to sell insurance, therefore no service plans. At least that was what I was told.

Interesting . . . thank you for the info. I got a ping from my DS last night - Cameron in Tampa. I'll have to ask him/her as we get closer to D day.
