Great idea! As much as I enjoy driving around with the top off, the sun beating down on me was not something I was looking forward to this summer. This top would solve that problem. I've ordered one. I'll report back on my experience with it.

If you look at their FaceBook link, you'll find some pics of a Tesla with a Taylor Mesh Top on it. That Tesla's custom body color looks familiar to me.

I was thinking of getting one, but the crack at the top of the window is now a show-stopper for me. Three days after I got my car, I left the windows open just a crack because it was so hot. Someone promptly used my car as a trash can. Not doing that again.

The shade mesh top filters out some of the sun, but not all of it, so the car is more enjoyable in medium warm weather when the sun is too strong to go topless, but not warm enough to demand the use of AC.

Yes with summer coming the mesh top is on the car all the time now. I may shoot some video for the Facebook page at next weekend's Santa Barbara Earthday event.
