Sharing from Google map to Tesla not working?

I used to be able to share but it now says not working. Tesla app works fine. My phone works fine. But it can no longer share. Does anyone else have this issue?

Can you provide more details? Do you see the share button in Google Maps? Do you have Tesla listed in the options for sharing? When you do share, what does your phone show?
Have you tried rebooting your phone and rebooting the car's infotainment system?

Did you recently take a job with the Mi5?

Google location and direction sharing with Tesla has never stopped working for me, and I do use it all the time as opposed to looking up in the nav screen.

Excuse late reply and thanks for your help.

I rebooted my phone and it works fine now.

I forgot you can only really share a location from a map or directions. Can't share route while navigation is active.

So wish I could just talk to my smartwatch and at navigate to somewhere and it share with the Tesla because the Tesla's voice recognition is absolute toilet. Shame that this makes the tech so far behind most of the competition. Best I can do is talk to a phone and then share directions, or type in manually. Sigh.

At least the share works though.

If voice recognition doesn't work well for you, I suggest you verify what language is configured for speech in your car's settings. It might not be set properly.
