I haven't been to a Wawa myself, so I can't really compare, but Sheetz is not too bad. They have a pretty wide variety of sandwiches & subs (hot and cold) in addition to burgers and dogs. The experience is a bit better than a 7-11. They usually have both indoor and outdoor eating areas. Granted, it's still housed in what is essentially a convenience store, but they do have a somewhat real food prep area, not just hot dogs spinning on a machine!
Interesting that this article states that there were only 21 Sheetz with Tesla Superchargers. I would have thought it was far more, simply based on the fact that I know about 6 of them on routes that I travel on: Greensboro, NC; Hickory, NC; Staunton, VA; Mt. Jackson, VA; Martinsburg, WV; and Carlisle, PA; (Harrisburg, PA is not technically at a Sheetz, so I guess it doesn't count, but it is directly adjacent)
Also note that the quoted article states that the Rocky Mount, NC Sheetz is hosting an Electrify America site, not Tesla.
