So it never occurred to them that the REASON the arctic ice is melting is because we're burning too much of their products and that the answer is not to open up even more lands to pump even more oil that will melt the ice even quicker?

I'm not sure why this drilling project was approved. A few of the funny user summited ads. Somehow I don't see Shell using the most popular user submitted ads as they are almost all made to make Shell look bad.

Really? They write 'we're getting warmer' then talk about climate change. Stay classy, Shell.

I was fooled with this site until I explored it on my home computer yesterday. It is a fake. I think Green Peace took credit for it. They copied Shell's site and put this on there. A very good copy job.

Here is an article on it.

Shell Arctic Ready: Company Won't Sue Greenpeace Over Spoof Campaign

Whois? brings up a hidden registrar. Shell's sites have Shell contacts.

Ah, that makes so much more sense. I couldn't figure out why Shell would allow things like that on their site.

Must admit it took me in for a couple of minutes but that 'we're getting warmer' line was too much. The associated twitter account was the dead giveaway.
