Golden Gate Electric Vehicle Association invites Tesla drivers to share in the fun of the first ever Cool The Earth Electric Vehicle rally through Marin, Sonoma, and Napa Counties, Shift to Electric 2014.
EV drivers will check in at 9:00 AM on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the twenty charging stations in the parking lot of the Target store at 125 Shoreline Parkway in San Rafael. The EVs will proceed in a caravan to Bon Air Shopping Center in Greenbrae to display the cars. From there the rally will head toward the wine country where the drivers will enjoy lunch hosted by Cornerstone Sonoma. The final stop will be a resort-quality finish line reception at Bardessono in Yountville, California’s first and only Platinum LEED certified hotel.
This is a great opportunity to promote EVs and to recognize and support the work of Cool The Earth in educating K-8 students and their families about climate change and the simple actions they can take to reduce carbon emissions. Cool The Earth’s programs are successfully convincing families to switch to EVs.
