Just wanted to share some experiences with shipping.
Back story:
Was looking to get some Tesla OEM wheels shipped from LA up to Seatle, however, the cost of UPS/Fed Ex was egregious.
I then remember a site we used to "transport" our dogs to my in-laws while we went on an extended vacation out of the country. A website called www.citizenshipper.com - which is basically the AirBnB/Uber model for shipping.
I put up my need, and people sent me quotes. I ended up finding a guy, who offered to do Door-2-Door for $275, which for 4 wheels and tires was super cheap.
Anwyays, if you are looking to buy parts in CA or looking to sell parts, I have Kevin's details who is quite trustworthy and has great communication skills. He actually drives up and down the coast chasing marathons and his hobby of part-time photography.
Anyways, thought I would share, since I have seen lots of deals on parts, and felt shipping bulky items wasnt cost effective.
