Planning to ship via enclosed trailer sea to tuc. Any suggested carriers?
PlyCar is what I used last year and what Tesla has used from the Roadster days. One option at least.
There are many companies you can choose from. Some people will tell you to only work with the actual carrier themselves (such as Plycar), but that isn't always the best option. Working with a broker could find you a better trucking company and quicker turn around time. Check out www.carshippingcarriers.com/how-to-ship-a-car/ and you can find the right company for your specific needs.
One thing to watch with enclosed trailer - when I shipped my BMW a while ago (pre-Tesla), they broke off a side mirror when driving it onto (or maybe off of) the trailer...let them know that the mirrors will automatically unfold even if they fold them...
I had a good experience shipping my Roadster with Motor Movers Auto Transport. Drop me an IM, and I'll give you the contact for the person I worked with.
