Here’s a video with the performance Model Y with the induction wheels driving through snow/low temps (they say it’s “lower than a household freezer” lol). They mostly highlight the Gemini wheels, but you can see some clips of the inductions wheels on a red and MSM Model Y throughout too, looks to be handling those conditions well.
Makes me think the reps don’t know what they’re talking about if they say the inductions are just summer tires. I don’t think Tesla would make the induction with a different tire just for performance considering they are all about streamlining the production process, but I can confirm when I get my MY with the 20’’ wheels
