Should I bother making a service appointment?

The weatherstripping at the top corner of the rear passenger-side door - just behind the B pillar - has developed a "hump". Is this a common issue and, if so, can it be rectified or is is "just one of those things"? I look forward to receiving your advice.

Not common, but Tesla interior fit and finish is always funky.

and, if so, can it be rectified

Sure - replacing the rubber seal will fix it.
If the car is new - try having Tesla fix it. If it's more than a few months old, Tesla may renege on warranty coverage.
If that, or if it's out of warranty - it's up to you how much of an inconvenience this is vs. how much it will cost to fix it.

Can you just push the strips out and make it settle back into place?

Weather strips expand and contract a lot. It's not uncommon for them to get a little stuck and expand incorrectly.
