Should I get XPel right away after delivery or wait?

I agree that absolutely as soon as possible is best. The Lemon Car dilemma I would work out as follows: weigh the probability of receiving a lemon and the cost of having XPel'd it against the probability of receiving a car that you expect to own for ____X____ years (and sell for ____$Y____ thereafter) that received a few nicks and scratches while you were waiting to get it wrapped.

Our own Model X drove for 2,000 miles before we wrapped it. The sole reason for this delay was because the XPel service had a backlog. And, of course, our car did indeed get a few frontal nicks in the interim - ouch.

My strongest suggestion, then, is if you do decide to get it wrapped, schedule the appointment right now for the day you take delivery.

Another suggestion: discuss with the XPel-ler whether they will wrap the seat backs. I'm very happy to recommend that.
