Should I have this on both brake calipers?

See metal clip in this pic of passenger-side front caliper. This clip is missing on the driver side.

It’s on the brake pad, not the brake caliper. its a brake wear indicator that will screech against the rotor when the brake pad wear gets low enough. Usually on both sides, but I wouldn’t worry about it. Performance model I presume ? Compare with someone else.

Since it’s on the upper side on your picture look at the bottom of the “inside” of the caliper with the “missing” wear indicator tab, bet it’s there. Pads are reservable so it’s most likely on the inner side.
Brilliant! I was just looking at a pic of the passenger-side pad (w wheel removed) and noticed the symmetry and was just about to look at the bottom of the other pad. Mystery solved. Thanks!
