Have you ever heard the term "riced out honda"? This would be the same thing. Putting a badge on the car that it did not originally come with falls under this category.
It’s your car, do what you want. I think almost all the Model 3 badges are ugly, it was this or nothing, and nothing was too plain for me. Personally I didn’t love the +, so I skipped that.

I personally much prefer the T E S L A in gloss black compared to the T emblem from the factory. It balances out the rear end and is more sporty in my view.
