Should I replace my scratched 18 inch aero covers before returning a lease?

The service center put my covers on asphalt and now they are scratched. (No I don't have this captured on TeslaCam). Should I go through the lease return process and see what happens? Or just shell out the $100 for a set of 4 new covers? Just worried about being charged a lot as I've heard terrible stories about returning leases, even with Tesla.

Does Tesla consider the covers when observing possible excess wear and tear charges?

If you happen to live in southeast FL, I have a set of 18” aero wheel covers I don’t need (2018 Model 3). I tried to give them away in the Parts for Sale forum, but no takers. I don’t want to ship them anywhere.

You won't get docked for that.
Just return as-is when the time comes.
If there is any trouble, you can protest or pay the $100 at that time. But that isn't going to happen.
