Should schools in America be required to teach Arabic numerals to Children?

Not sure what is the intent of the question. All math an science text books in US are written in English and use the greek symbols and english numerals. So what is the purpose for teaching Arabic numerals? Zero was conceptualized by Aryabhata from India as was the decimal system which was later on adopted by the Arabic system 4 centuries later.

This is an example of a question that was used to tests people's biases.
The other question asked whether children should be taught the creation theory espoused by Catholic priest Georges Lemaître.

Ah got it .. seeing if people latched onto "Arabic" as some sort of Islam thing. And of course Lematre was an astrophysicist. Interesting.
