Our 16.14lb 20" UP-03 wheels with carbon fiber barrels!
I always loved the look of 5 spoke rims. It's hard to beat that look for me.
I mean....what price are we talking, ballpark figure..5k each?
Unplugged Performance UP-03 Carbon Fiber Wheels for Tesla Vehicles
Looks like $4K per wheel ...
After looking through hundreds of photos, I have come to the realization that the stock 21" turbine is a pretty sweet looking wheel and in my opinion better than most aftermarket alternatives.
Agreed, I have also not yet seen better looking wheels.
Thought the chromed slipstreams were the best wheels I had seen on a brown s until I put the arachnids on.
It's a good thing that we do not all have the same taste otherwise we would all be driving the same car....
strike that, same color car with the same wheels
Silver Model S with Matte Black TS115 21 inch Forged Wheels, Lug Nut Cover Set, and Chrome Delete in Satin Black
Size: 21x9.0" front, 21x9.5” rear (approximately 27% lighter than a factory 21” staggered Turbine wheel set)
Finish: Matte Black
Tires: Pirelli P Zero 245/35-21” front, 265/35-21” rear
Other: Uses factory lug nuts, accepts factory center cap, uses original TPMS.
Main reasons I got the Arachnids over the 21" Turbines were that they were lighter, better economy, and less likely to sustain damage (stronger). Otherwise, I would have been fine with the Turbines and could have saved myself over a grand.
I suppose another benefit to the arachnids are that they are not as commonly seen, yet still a stock wheel.
New owner here looking to add a set of wheels. Came across this set of Road Force Rf15 but could not find much info. They look good however I am not familiar with this brand. Anyone ever heard of or experienced Road Force Wheels? Considering a staggered set of 21x9 and 21x10.5. Would like to hear some opinions. They are cast alloy, 28mm front offset, 40mm rear offset about 40lbs for the 21"
If you can afford forged wheels that is the way to go. Reducing wheel weight helps the ride as well as handling.
