Car is a Blue 2021 Model 3 LR + Boost with white/black interior. Took me about 2 hours to install. Kit was $90 from Amazon.

Could you please provide a link to the exact kit you bought? I have been thinking of getting a kit like that but there are so many different ones it’s hard to feel what’s good. If you think that one is good quality etc I’d love to know. Thanks.

I want to get lights in mine once it arrives. Does this drain your battery at all?

Love it. Is there a way so that it comes on at night with the headlights or do you have to manually turn it on and off via plugging it into the 12volt outlet under the armrest?

No noticeable drain at all.

No, just the 12v. It does have a power button on it, as well as in the app that it uses to change the colors.

The lights will automatically turn off from the 12v when your car goes to sleep (meaning no Sentry Mode on, etc).

Reviews don't seem to be great. Seems there are adhesive issues with this kit. Any problems with it not staying on?

About 3 months ago they updated the adhesive in the kit. It seems to be sticking just fine so far... but of course I'm only on day #2 so we'll see.

Would it affect your night vision?

Somewhat. If I'm doing a lot of night driving (like a freeway drive) I'd probably turn it off. But just cruising around or a hop to the store and it's fine. There is some reflection up on the windshield but it doesn't get in the way of my vision looking straight forward.
