Tesla has acquired the old Southside Toyota site in Mount Gravatt, South-East Brisbane.
1922 Logan Road, Upper Mount Gravatt

Next to a Coles and the big Westfield nearby.

Alterations to a Tesla showroom have begun.
Per Nathan on TOA.

Close to the Pacific Motorway and has a massive forecourt that Toyota used to use as a used car lot, so I'd think Superchargers might be a strong possibility (it's only a few km from the Brisbane South/ Coorparoo dot on the current maps).
Can't find any council docs.

I mistakenly did a quick Google Map search last night for Southside Toyota and found what I thought was this site, but now realise that must've been their new location and wasn't 1922 Logan Road I was looking at!

The site looks huge, I couldn't really tell if it was that much bigger than their other sites, but a quick google maps check shows it as ~3x bigger than any of the others!

Location (both in regards to nearby facilities, and highway) would be great for superchargers.

Weirdly enough I can't find anything about it on the Brisbane City Council DA search website, or in council meeting documents (so far).

Agree it's a massive site.. and 9 or 12 superchargers along Logan Road would look great.
And being next door to a minor mall and opposite a Westfield I'd think a good chance for plentiful power supply

As it used to be a dealership, and Tesla in their usual way are probably only making minimal exterior changes, it may not need a full DA.
And Superchargers are just large and glorified PowerPoints in an existing carpark.
(Similar to the lack of DAs for Chatswood and Elsternwick)

On the Superchargers it should be noted that Melbourne Elsternwick which has a similarly large forecourt hasn't had Superchargers installed and from a thread comment won't, but equally it isn't as well sited as Mount Gravatt.

The "Coorparoo supercharger" isn't a Coorparoo site - it's a generic "Brisbane South" marker. They often appear on the map before Tesla knows exactly where they're going to end up. It could be anywhere in the general area (including this location).

I can't seem to find this FB post .. has it been deleted?

Found this but it's not from Nathan and doesn't have the photo: Log into Facebook
He posts a lot. This one I think. Also seemingly photo credit to Dennis.

Talk about cable porn! can't wait to get that into me, car!
Wouldn't be so keen.

I suspect they will be like Sydney Kirrawee they will be Tesla staff/service only, typically used for service or delivery cars before the customer collects.

But it's otherwise a big forecourt, and Tesla doesn't do used sales globally, so there is hope they use that space for Superchargers eventually.
