side by side comparison of trim clips 1011813-00-A and Toyota Generic

I'll let the photos do most of the talking. I know many people have said the toyota generic trim clips will work as a cheaper substitute for the teal Tesla clips (1011813-00-A) but I wasn't sure if they meant they were identical or if they were adequate in desperate times. Got a little extra suspicious when I tried to buy the trim clips from Tesla and the local SC said they didn't have any in stock and would have to order them for me - surely they must use a lot of them in a normal week.

If anything, the toyota/generic version looks a tiny bit more robust. Essentially identical if you weren't looking at them side by side.

Used the generic ones when I was to replace broken ones when I put sound dampening in. They seemed more robust and less brittle than the Tesla versions.
