Side view mirror sag

Mine does the same thing. Model 3 never did that.

I have noticed that over time, my side view mirrors tend to sag on my Model Y. Basically they aren't retaining the appropriate position. After about a week, I have to tilt them up again so I'm not looking at the ground. Anyone else have this issue?

So I notified them of this issue for my upcoming visit to fix a few small things noted at delivery. And they ordered a new mirror. I'll be surprised if this fixes the issue. I even pointed them to this thread....I still think it is a software issue....but we'll see....

With the new auto dimming mirrors, there is also an issue where they dont go up and to the left enough on the driver side. I dont know what the incidence is, but I definitely have this, and so do a few others. SC told me an “updated part” needed to be ordered by engineers.

It's auto tilt not returning to it's position. It happened to all my previous cars. I don't think it's software, but the gears in the motor.

If it's the gears, then manual adjustments wouldn't work. It's probably software.

Duh! Just realized that after you correct the mirror adjustment you have to save your profile again.

Same here, most noticible on passenger side. It seems not to return all the way when unfolding the mirrors.

Update. They replaced the motor. As I suspected, it did not fix the issue. I even referred them to this thread. But they ignored it. I guess I will just open another service ticket.

I have this issue.. Its so annoying! Did you ever get it fixed somehow?
