"Signal" Texting app display

When I use the Signal app on my android, text messages do not display on the screen. If I switch back to the messages app, it works fine. Anybody else figure this out?

i wouldn’t expect a 3rd party app to work that way

Yea, but Elon told us to use Signal!

I am pretty sure the release notes in the car about text messaging specifically say that only the stock messaging app on a phone works and also that group messages dont work.

To be fair, that was instead of whatsapp which also doesn't sync messages to the car

Having said that, I personally hope we do get support for Signal messages syncing too
