Significant price increase in model S coming? [Speculation]

Is it possible that part of the reason no mention has been made if the changes in the refresh S is that they are going to be significant. Given that Tesla is planning to introduce a $25,000 car, and has raised the price of the 3 and Y a few times, perhaps they plan on making the S a much higher end Halo car. And, they're going to raise the price 20 to 30 grand. The reason for the silence could simply be that they don't want any more orders at this time, as they aren't making as much money as they hope to make.

This thought is bolstered by the dramatic prices of the high-end lucid air and of course the mercedes EQS. Why give your cars away for lower prices than they need to be? Many have noted that the S does not have to carry a large volume of sales to do its job. That being draw people to the Tesla brand. And, of course, make a high profit margin when you do sell one. The x is already pretty high priced, might go up a little, but there's no competition for it in any event.

Ravings of a lunatic, or maybe is there something to this?

They already raised the price by 10k, I'm thinking it's pretty accurately priced for what you get around now. Of course, this is just an opinion and I could always be proved wrong haha.

I think we might see some marginal price increases across the board in the near term like they've been doing with the 3/Y in an attempt to boil the frog and rake in some extra profit on the presumed renewal of the US EV tax credit.

I also think whether they admit it or not they're going to be somewhat supply constrained for the next year or two as the semiconductor shortage plays out, so might as well earn a bit more per copy.
