I have one of the rings that is the black with a slight wood look..

It's my emergency backup since I always wear the ring.

The only negative, which really isn't that negative since it's an emergency key, is that I basically need to slide it off and put it on the pillar of the car for the car to see it. (it has to see a loop, so just knuckleing it doesn't work)

So if you always wear the ring and not think about it, and like the look, they're just fine.

I think the rings look good, and the added functionality of them being a key makes them appealing. If I were already a ring wearer, I'd get one in a heartbeat.
