Ski pass thru?

Has anyone done / seen a modified rear Center arm rest to convert to a ski pass thru (like the old bmws ) on a model 3?

Wow - awesome thanks for the vid.
I was soooo hoping it would be easier than taking everything out.....


I’m possibly thinking of just modifying it place - ie cut vertical slices on inner and outer covers - and then cut / hole saw a section out that you could pass a set of skis thru (and leave fabric in place with just a slit)
Don’t need a full opening like the guy in the vid

I had a back seat down to bring home some 8' pieces of pvc trim and hated the way it came to an end a few inches from my touchscreen. No way I'd ever stick a 8' 2x4 in there.

I know skis aren't that long but I'd hate to see the screen after an abrupt stop of those aren't secured....
