Slow supercharging with a funny smell at charger

This was a new supercharger configuration. Had 12 x 2 stalls total of 24 charge ports.

Cars were lined up 8 deep at each double station. Charging took 30 minutes and required payment up front. Everyone look super angry and what's worse there was this odd smell being emitted by both the chargers and cars.

First time filling up in about 4 months. Not missing this at all.

Man, that looks awful! Heck, I'd even guess that smell would signify some DANGER or another.

I'd avoid any car that requires that kind of charge.

I like the configuration and how many stalls are in use. There is a strange sign on a pillar "STOP ENGINE"? Anyone know what that means?

Good catch!

On a serious note - perfect example of why unlimited supercharging isn't sustainable. What people would put up with to save a buck or two. 400kWh is a good compromise.
