Smart Summon Coming to Canada This Weekend

I think if you have the latest app it should show near the software update button. Not sure if you have to start the update first. Pretty sure it should just show it.
Edit: Not sure you can check the version from the app if it hasn't downloaded yet though. It should show while downloading and it should show it in the car I think.

Still holding out hope Elon time is on the short side this time. I've been in Belgium for the last week for work, arriving back tomorrow. Would be sweet to have smart summon this weekend. For me I would totally use it at work, which isn't a busy parking lot. Not planning to use it at Walmart

I am in Toronto and I just got the latest update and have full Smart Summon and it works AMAZING.*

I suspect it is just GPS locked, the code are there. Just like last year when NOA is not enable in Canada and US car enter Canada.
NOA may have been GPS gated (or map data dependent) but the code/software switch for Summon is specifically separated for Canadian cars. I drove down to San Francisco and I was in the US for more than a week. I didn't have V10 at the time but even then I was not presented with the option of regular summon with one tap option (instead of having to be near the car and holding the button).

Remember the update may have it but our app on our phone may be the obstacle right now.
Until someone who ACTUALLY has the update or Elon says something, I will keep remaining optimistic.
Someone on Reddit claimed it didn't have it but I think they had an S60... So probably wouldn't get it if it did.
No it’s not an app update. I also don’t think it’s geo locked because NOA was delayed because of regulations, however this smart summon may just be a modified version just for Canadians I don’t know how they would get around the law..
