Smart Summon is currently not ready

Noticed that smart summon will not work. It will start up, and fail with “currently not ready” error. Used to work ok, but recently it just fails to init. Tesla did remote diagnostics and they have no clue, saying might be fixed by an update.
Anyone on the boat?

Smart summon hasn't worked normally for me for months
The only way I can get it to work is to use regular summon to move the car a little
Then smart summon will connect

I don't have smart summon standby enabled, since I hardly use smart summon.
I usually only try it when there is a new software update to see if there are any improvements
and to see if it will work without using regular summon first
on 2020.44.25 now

IMO Smart Summon is dead (legacy) until FSD Beta replaces it. Already FSD Beta is driving with a good deal of confidence through parking lots making Smart Summon look near stupid, clumsy and inept.

With every update I've had to do a wheel reset for Smart Summon to work again, then it seems to work fine until the next update.
