Smart Summon Problem

My 2017 S75/FSD/HW3, with 2020.36 installed, could not connect to my iPhone 11 Tesla app. During an attempted use of Smart Summon. I selected summon from the app and then selected smart summon, but I was not returned to the “come to me” option on the home page. Instead, the screen just showed that it was trying to connect to my car, but never did. The car was less than 200 ft. from me, in a mostly empty parking lot, and with a strong WiFi signal (as shown on my phone). I have used smart summon successfully in the past, so I have no idea what the problem could be. Any ideas??? TIA

I assume you mean the Tesla app connected to the car, but the Summon failed. Try turning on Smart Summon Standby in the car temporarily to see if that helps. That keeps everything powered on that summon needs.

Thanks. I tried that but it didn’t work ... at first. Then I turned off standby mode and turned it back on. Works great, thanks.
