Snapped some pics of the refreshed MS today. Front plate bracket standard?

Went to Service Center in Dublin, CA. They can't take it off for me and won't even let me borrow the socket for 5 min so I can take it off myself. But, they let me take pictures so I can buy it myself and use it once. Looks like it's a Torx Plus 10EPL

Cali has front plate laws, if they remove it they would be breaking the law.

The law is pretty silly, but you need to jump through the hoops since it exists.

Oh, if they have a front plate requirement I can understand them being reluctant. Where I live there is none so a DS not taking it off makes less sense.
