no no....it made sense.

No rollout or anything.

I'm 99% confident you don't even know what rollout is based on your posts on this... (spoiler- drag strips use rollout....which you just said you didn't use... because you didn't know what it was and didn't realize you were using it)

This is hilarious for 2 reasons.

1) The test in that link includes rollout

2) They ran 2.998. With 1 foot rollout. Which is almost 3 tenths slower than the 2.7 you claim you ran WITHOUT rollout.

@Knightshade

Come to the track with me. Its the autobahn in Joliet Il.

I'll get you in for free if you want to see it for yourself.

The track is the problem.

If they actually told you 2.7, their measuring device is wrong.

There's literally hundreds of other owners, with calibrated measuring devices, and published results on places like draggy, none of whom run anywhere close to that number.

True.

LOL.....both me and the guy in drag times.... were on a 20 degree downward slope.

The guy on dragtimes ran almost 0.3 slower than you claim you ran dude.

That's a HUGE, literally unbelievable claim on your part.

(doubly so since you claimed you did it without rollout, and he explicitly shows his # is with rollout)

When will it happen? NOW.....

I just officially had my P3D clocked at 2.7 twice in a row at a track in Joliet Il.

Your antic's of repeatedly claiming these times with absolutely no evidence to back it up are getting old lol.

Pardon my french but you should put up or...you know, stop talking about it? I'd put money on it that you couldn't achieve that time using a Dragy device with a validated performance report (meaning within slope tolerance the app accepts to post your time to the leaderboards) in a stock P3. But quite frankly, I don't see you doing that for obvious reasons. ;)

I'm not claiming it's impossible but either the testing method is flawed or there is an external cause to be achieving that time - such as a strong tail-wind and/or a negative slope and/or weight reductions. Not all tracks are made equal.

Exactly. I have the times and the equipment to measure acceleration and battery power from 30 to 60 mph....unless you just want to call me a lier again and get your posts removed like before.

They come and go. I've seen plenty of P90DLs on Tesla's CPO site. You are right that the 90s do degrade faster but that's due to silicon on the anodes.

My P85DL original battery has been doing great but I'm still on v8 so I haven't been power and range capped like many others have. I'm currently at 240 miles of range at 100% out of an original 253 after 110K miles.

My power is down to 443KW from an 458KW when the upgrade was first done at 17K miles.

Well the definition of a liar would be claiming something that you don’t prove so therefore isn’t true=lying

There are no P99DL’s with a manufacture date a after August 2016. Actually even July you can check yourself. I have updated my software and I’m getting 245-246 at 100% SOC and new a 2014 P85D is supposed to get 242.

Since your battery is in such great shape still than you can go do some current times and prove me wrong... Yay... Nope

Sure, or you could just look at the times and graphs I posted back in 2015.

Wasting your time in this argument, Sorka.
You and I owned the cars, saw the proof. And felt it. No point feeding the trolls.

Yea that placebo is one hell of a drug. That can happen tho when spend $10K for a small boost of acceleration from 50-70mph which is still debatable. I would want to convince myself too. If anything I would want an increase in performance from the take off and wouldn’t expect a loss from it. But hey what do I know I only have all the times showing otherwise. Just like the eye in the shy don’t lie the recorded times don’t either. These are facts again not feelings. I once again I can post legitimate times not graphs but times that break 0-10mph, 0-20mph, 0-30mph, 0-40mph, 0-50mph 0-60mph (1ft) and 0-60mph that all prove that it does not. As well as a video of my P85D showing it’s a P85D doing 1.22 seconds 0-30mph, which is faster than ever P85DL and prefacelift P90DL. And include an 1/8 mile time just as fast as any P85DL which I did on a street where I couldn’t even go the 1/8 mile without having to slow down right at the end, but my 330ft time is faster or as fast as the fastest P85DL’s on there. Also it was running a 3.44 0-60mph or 3.21 0-60mph 1ft which is 2 tenths slower than it usually does with around 80% battery. So that in itself completely dismisses your claims of 50-70mph increases unfortunately. As I was hoping that $10K you and others spent actually did something instead of basically being wasted for nothing. So I am sorry for yours and others lose that Tesla took advantage of, by convincing owners to spend money on something that had no benefits which is why they lost a lawsuit over this exact same issue in Norway.
Also a troll would be considered someone who interjects themselves into a conversation giving information claimed as facts yet does nothing to prove those claims. So yes the trolls need to stop hating cuz I know I/we know the truth based on real factual figures. That have been provided by yours truly.
You’re welcome to those owners who are misinformed from others who desperately want to believe they didn’t get hosed out of $10k and you can buy a P85D or P85DL knowing that the ludicrous shouldn’t add any value to the car, as it did nothing to increase performance. Except maybe decrease performance off the line or aka the “punch” that my P85D gets and P85DL’s do not.
It also seems very clear that a 2014 P85D is faster than a 2015. I can posts those results as well. Perhaps due to the +suspension in all 2014’s and only some 2015’s.
But what do I know I only know how to do all the work on my Tesla’s myself if needed too, besides mechanically work which I cannot cause it’s lets Tesla know if you do, and only certified Tesla technicians are allowed too without potentially voiding your warranties.

I'm sorry that your P85D performs so poorly. Perhaps you should make an appointment with Tesla.

Poorly... lol. It’s only the faster than every P85DL and gets 4 miles more range than new. And has the current software with no issues lol. Keep trying bud but your desperately losing on this.

I’m sorry your $10k did nothing. You should see if you can get your money back like the did in Norway

$5K. Not $10K. I'm happy with my vbox proven measured improvement. You're clearly very angry at Tesla about how poorly your car performs. I get that.
