Sure, but driver supervision will still be required when FSD goes to wide release.
Well, no $#!t.
Again, where have you been?

I am going to go out on the limb and guess that you do not use "Traffic Light and Stop Sign Control" that takes you through the traffic lights on it's own.

I’ve seen a few dozen of your posts in this thread and bow to your technical expertise. But is it necessary to be a jerk?
Is it necessary to come to a thread - out of thousands on this forum - that specifically talks about FSD rewrite rollout and $#1t on the idea of robotaxis?

You find the concept silly, unattainable or idiotic, why are you on the thread then?

No one compels you to purchase FSD, and no one is going to force you to use FSD, yet here you are!

Hey @hydro 481 , how in the world would me responding to the OP saying "if you have any questions, ask me one" with a real question on how he compared the model Y to other crossovers instead of to a model 3 draw a "disagree"? What are you disagreeing with here... the fact I asked a question as the OP asked?

Get used to it. I have this tool named @DDHEverything that follows me around like a complete loser disagreeing with my posts even if it's just stating a well supported fact. Some people are just complete douches that live a very sad life.

Or you just have bad opinions? And it’s funny that you call me a tool when you went through all my posts and disliked 28 of them in a few minutes.

The fobtard statement was a joke, guys. I meant retards. I was also having the iPhone app take forever to wake up the car. There is an update of the iPhone app out several days ago. Version 3.10.9. So far seems a bit more responsive. I like the idea of the fob, I'm just too lazy to keep up with it.

Hiya! I'm new to the forum and I just ordered my Model 3 today!! I'm looking at the manual and accessories, and I see the Key Fob. How useful is it? Seems like I can do everything with my phone. Maybe it's good for valet parking or lending the car to a friend? Or is it just personal preference? Just wondering if some of you experts out that could give me some scenarios where the Key Fob makes sense. Thanks!
Welcome to TMC! Where people use retard as a slur in a thread about key fobs.
No, you don't need the fob, but you might prefer it.
I suggest you try without one for a few weeks, then buy it if you don't like the phone+card combination.

Can't read all 12 pages, but I want to point out the flaw in the logic here:

Charging up to 90% at a Supercharger is an error, here.

It takes a LOT less power to take the battery from 30% to 50% than it takes to get it from 60% to 90%. (Also more time.)

I realize it's appealingly simple to say, "I left at 90% and filled it to 90%, that's a fair comparison," but that's gas-tank thinking.

I charged to 90% because I still had slightly more than 200 miles to go in my trip and there are NO superchargers between Helena and Kalispell, MT. I arrived with about 30 miles of range left and the warning “I need to charge soon....”

So ya, I suppose I could have charged to 85% and arrived with less than 10 miles of range left.

Clearly just another case of somebody typing on their apparatus made out of “Fools Fuel”. (Which frankly is about the dumbest statement I’ve heard constantly spilling out of the mouth of the gentleman who uses products made with “Fools Fuel” EVERYDAY. (Kinda makes him look like the Fool)

Then again those of us arguing with said gentleman are probably the Fools.

A wise man once said, “never argue with an idiot, they will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience”

Cheers!

Picked up the LR Y today.
The delivery was uneventful and smooth.
I had to ask them for my self-referral credit which they took care of straight away.
Largely a no-touch delivery. Had plenty of time to examine the vehicle.
Found only one small superficial scratch on the front bumper which I documented, but think it will rub out.

Major issue for me. Got the worthless Continental Tires. Now listen up!

I made the delivery rep check he tread all the way around and surprise!! They are all 7/32.

Now wouldn't you think when you order a NEW car, you would get new tires???

I had this same experience with my Model X, but it had 1250 miles on it before I got to measure it.

This really reeks of a CLASS ACTION SUIT to me. Anyone on board, let me know and I will get the atty.

How much did the accessory set you back?
