Snow Tires for Winter 2018-2019

205/55-16 fronts vs. 175/55-16 OEM.
The extra 30mm might rub. Tesla did offer a 195 front. The main problem, though, is that you’ve got the same sidewall ratio there. Those tires are about an inch and a half taller. A 205/50-16 would still be a half-inch taller, but would probably still work on a 2.0 with tire learning capability. A 195/50-16 would be the best match.

Found some OEM cast aluminum Roadster wheels, got them powder coated a nice satiny gun metal and mounted my Nokian tires. Bring on the snow!

I have a lot of favors owed so I called one in, they only had one tire in the shop in the right sizes, so I have Sotozero 3 runflats, not my first choice but they were free plus my longest distance will only be 95km so reduced range doesn’t worry me.
