So, can a S 90D easily take a 100kwh battery?

According to Uncle Rich it can.
I’m too lazy to link but I think he mentions it in the 75-> 100 battery swap vid he just posted on YouTube.
Yeah I think the 90 packs have all the required wiring/electrical components in place. For the 75 (and presumably the 85) there were some additional modifications required.
Good video and worth a watch if you’re considering a swap from a donor car.

I was told it depends on year. I asked SC if I could get a 100 to replace my 85. He said no , car was to old. Ranger told me they were all the same shape. But I might need a new controller. SC said it was $22k for new pack.
After a little research that the service center is correct. The rapid connect at the rear of the car has a completely different part for +2016/17 cars with dual/performance.

I don't think the newer splitter is compatible with the rear HVJB (High voltage junction box). The neighbor to the onboard charger under the back seat. Lift the back seat cushion up and reference the part number on the harnesses coming off the center "HV junction box."

Mines all different, I have 2 chargers under seat. Old antique when they sold a second charger to double the charge. Only problem is, finding 100 amp service. Giggle. A charger at the Hilton Daytona was wired wrong. I plugged in, smoked it. Fire. . I tried next one, it was ok. Manager asked why my car was different? I said I have additional charger to get more amps.
