And hey look, turned out I was 100% correct as directly confirmed yesterday by Elon about the HW3 upgrade too!

Elon confirmed a lot of things on Twitter. I guess you can add this to the bottom of the list of things he confirmed on twitter and still hasn't delivered.

Different early access program. The one Elon mentioned is not the same as the existing program. Doubt they set it up already.
