that they can book the supercharging costs as a loss for the company which is much more efficient---but at what point does a company have to develop a yearly profit before it is bankrupt?

How long can a company book advertising costs at a loss for a car that doesn't sell? Supercharging is in the company accounts as a marketing expense.

ive seen the car in real life last year (lucky enough to encounter a mule on the austrian border!) and its very bulky looking with small interior. Doesnt look very practical and probably not very efficient.

Are you claiming that the Model 3 and Model Y don't exist? Or that (in the case of the Model 3) the 400,000 or so were delivered at a loss?

I did see it in the middle of December 2019. It was charging at a CSS charger near the Austrian border at 13/12/19 14:30. Reason I know the time is that I took a picture of the chargers about 10min before the car rocked up. But I was too perplexed to take a picture when the car arrived!

Never stated that. Advertising Tesla for models has been literally free via tweets, on-line posts as Ford has been doing with the Mach E.
