An electric Penske rental moving truck! That is awesome!

It is too dark to see, but it definitely looks hatchback-like.

    From the linked article:
There are not that many electric outfits already in use in the US. Tesla, AC Propulsion, CommuterCars, Zap... maybe a tiny handful of others. It is possible it is a Model S.

Unless by "already in use in the US" they consider prototypes like Fisker and the Big 3 concepts already in use.

I have a hard time believing that Tesla would move the Model S in a Penske rental truck...it means they would have had to have taken the S to a loading facility with a loading dock...people would have seen it there and that is not typical Tesla behavior...They move roadsters in their own trucks and trailers...Why would they not move the S that way....

Then again I know the S is being kept at SpaceX....I am sure they have a loading dock there....darn...theory shot to sh*t

Let's not forget Myers Motors NmG...I know they are going to be at the D Auto Show....I believe he is taking 2-4 units...it would not surprise me if he used a rental truck....

If we had the technology from shows like CSI we could have the image enhanced so it would be uber clear and then we would have a better shot at guessing what it is

If that white bit is a headlight then it is up very high and close to the front of the vehicle.

Sssssshhh, don't spoil it for the normal people that watch the show .

Looks like TEG might have figured it out though.

Forget CSI. How about the Esper machine from Blade Runner, which adds parallax to 2D photos. Then we could see around that dude standing in the way.

Oh - I guessed and posted GEM before seeing that article (and reading your post). I suppose it could still be something else altogether though.

    Then there is the Triac

The photo looks like the wheels are exposed though. I am going with a NEV that looks a bit like those existing GEMs (not the Peapod).

    LOL.
Yep, I thought this was the closest match to the open fender and high rectangular headlight we saw in that Penske truck photo.
