I made it all the way to the end of the configurator (having selected AWD) last night. It erred out when I tried to pay, then reverted to the old configurator. Way to kill the excitement...

It sure would be nice if they sort of told us the "rules" of all this. You'd think on one hand they'd want $2500 deposits from as many people as possible but it also makes sense for them to wait and go through their normal "order", but the lack of transparency is really getting frustrating.

Either way, we don't know if its employee only or just plain broke and no one can place orders and the only images floating around are from there 5 minute period at 2/3am last night when a few people started to place orders only to find they could not complete them.

Mine is grayed out but not worried about it currently. Once it becomes active for others, then I'll be concerned.

This are the only screenshots I've seen (from this thread Elon says AWD and Perf orders start at end of next week!) - no one's successfully configured yet that I can see. I'm an East Coast owner, reserved online before the reveal, initially invited to configure in January, dual motor option still greyed out for me on the configurator...
